Computer is super slow

Not sure what the problem is but both browsers are super slow. There is an error message that pops up when the computer boots. I have attached it a print screen of the same. I have no idea if this is related to it.

The message reads :

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

Download HijackThis Executable from here. Save it to your desktop.
Start HJT & press the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. When the scan is finished a window will pop up giving you the option of where to save it. Save it to desktop where it is easy to access. Open the log file and then go to the format Tab and make sure that wordwrap is unchecked. Copy the entire contents of the file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET. Most of what is there is necessary for the running of your system.

sounds like a virus ... try downloading ccleaner that will clean up the temp files. malwarebytes
Double-click mbam-setup.exe and install the program
be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes
It will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results
if virus are found they should be checkd. click Remove Selected.
a log will open in Notepad. you may have to reboot to get rid of the programs. downlowd an antivirus program if you dont have one. there are free programs at Filehippo AVG9 and AVAST are good.

sorry to hear of your problem. im sure we all feel we could help you but if you want the best results just follow crunchies advice and im sure your problem will be solved. 1 thing i would say though is think twice about installing avg yes its free and works OK but is a nightmare to remove from your pc. if you want advice on a good, clean anti virus just ask 1 of the experts on here i,e crunchie, judy etc.

I personally would not recommend AVG. Avast, Avira or Comodo would be my choice.

Nothing to see there.

Go here http://www.billsway.com/vbspage/ and download, unzip and run the Registry Search Tool. Type kikububu in the dialog box. Let it run and after a few minutes, a prompt will appear. Click OK to write the results to Notepad and post them here.

Remove the following line using Hijackthis by placing a check in the box at the left of the line.
Make sure all browser windows are closed and then click the "fix checked" button.
Reboot the pc and see if the error has gone.

The error message with the 'kikububu.dll' obviously does not show up anymore but the problems are still there. It is still slow.

Download and Run ATF Cleaner
Download ATF (Atribune Temp File) Cleaner© by Atribune to your desktop.

Double-click ATF Cleaner.exe to open it.

Under Main choose:
Windows Temp
Current User Temp
All Users Temp
Cookies
Temporary Internet Files
Prefetch
Java Cache
*The other boxes are optional*
Then click the Empty Selected button.

Firefox:
Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.

Opera:
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click NO at the prompt.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Also, try disabling any browser add-ons and see if the slow down goes away.
