AussieMate,

Hi and welcome to the Daniweb forums :).

===============

First of all could you click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall 'Window Search', 'Window Searching', 'Lop.com', 'LOP SEARCH', 'Browser Enhancer', or 'Ultimate Browser Enhancer' if listed. You may be given a code to insert, do so and reboot when done. If not listed there, run the Lop Remover from:
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm

=

Uninstall Messenger Plus as it comes bundled with LOP, the infection you currently enjoy :). You can reinstall Messenger Plus without the sponsor.

===============

Please visit at least two of the following sites for an online virus scan:

BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php
Make sure you tick AutoClean under Scan Options.

Panda ActiveScan
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
Make sure you tick Disinfect automatically under Scan Options.

Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
Make sure you tick Auto Clean.
When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.

eTrust Antivirus Web Scanner
http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

===============

Run HiJackThis, click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.nopuocwsqbdv.com/ugDwyQT..._8vCx1KYZZ.html

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A9373AB5-F597-299F-FF13-ED55BD90DBED} - C:\DOCUME~1\Ursula\APPLIC~1\CAKEWI~1\nurb setup.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [USERBODYHIDECITY] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stupid store user body\slow intra.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [MSN Messages] msnmessag.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [curb user] C:\DOCUME~1\Ursula\APPLIC~1\64OWNS~1\HoleGramSoap.exe

Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure you are able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

folders...

C:\DOCUME~1\Ursula\APPLIC~1\CAKEWI~1
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stupid store user body
C:\DOCUME~1\Ursula\APPLIC~1\64OWNS~1

Search for...

msnmessag.exe

...using "Start | Search...".

-

Note that some of these file(s)/folder(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in "Safe Mode".

-

Reboot.

===============

After rebooting, rescan with hijackthis and post back a new log. Please let me know how your pc is now.
