I have reviewed the "read me before posting a request..." thread and hate to say that I cannot even get that far in my attempt to remove this virus. Whatever I have downloaded is causing an automatic reboot loop. I have attempted to start in safe mode (by pressing F8 at start up) to access repair option as other forums have suggested but nothing happens. Right before reboot loops again a blue screen appear, but disappears before I can read it. Any suggestions on getting around this issue so I can proceed with the cleaning process as you've suggested?
I'm throwing this out there because I've seen it mentioned in other forums - my computer came with XP preloaded so I do not have a Windows XP disk to run a repair in that way.
