Hi all,

Im fairly new here and im having some problems concerning popups from netwfix and the other trash thats related to it.

I didnt a search in google and here I am.

Ive read a few other threads and a moderator adviced them to download and install a utility called HijackThis and paste a copy of the log file. I hope that someone can help me out.

Hi deano, welcome to Daniweb :)

  • Please download VundoFix.exe and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Check the "Run Vundo as task" box.
  • You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
  • When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.
  • VundoFix will have created a log file named C:\vundofix.txt; please post the contents of that file, as well as a new HijackThis log, in your next post.
