Hi guys, a newbie here.

I had exactly the same problem as burketdsl posted on 05-21-04 and followed the advice given. Fortunately, it solved the problem, but now when shutting down I get the End Program coming up for Autosave instead!
Any suggestions please? I have listed the log of HJT for info:

Also, is there any specific reason why I should get a blank box headed 'sign in with .NET Passport' upon startup. When I click on the close box, an End Program box comes up?

Thanks in advance

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoSave] C:\Program Files\V Communications\AutoSave\Autosave.exe

Not sure about the .NET problem, perhaps MSN messenger settings have changed?

Thanks very much Crunchie, that seems to have fixed the problem.
