I would appreciate anyone helping with this file log :

I am told that bridge.dll is missing (and now know it is for tracking anyway), but I also have my xp machine freeze about a minute after start-up and have to wait ages to get access to processes running.

If I then look at system performances I find that rundll.exe is running at 98% of cpu (and sometimes winlogon.exe instead - at same %cpu). I can get access to my pc if i shut them down.

Anyway here is the log to begin with - but any other advice would be most w elcome.

Thank You !!
Paul

OK - it seems I have managed to get rid of the bridge.dll problem.

There is still the CPU 100% issue with winlogon.exe or rundll32.exe.

Someone suggested on another board that it was an advertising "virus" that posted 2 files and a programme to the hard drive that messed around with these two .exe files.

I was told to look for file with *.cpy.dll as this would be one of the offending files - but I cant seem to find it on my pc - so I havent a clue what to do.

Is anyone any nearer solving this problem yet ?

Thanks
Paul

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

C:\Program Files\websx< folder
C:\WINDOWS\hnyr.exe< file
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ttwpqval.exe< file

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.

type javascript:navigator.userAgent or just copy and paste it in your IE Address bar then hit enter.

Post these results too.

I thought I recognised the log.
