hi ,
i had a suse 9 as a dual boot with xp.
it was working fine
till, i had to reinstall xp over linux,
had some new partitions created and then repaired the grub with automatic repair console .

now grub is working fine ,i can boot into win through grub .
but wen i try to boot lin it says -
/ file sys failed
try fsck /dev/hdb10
hdb10 is my root par. on reiser fs.


i tried fsck.reiserfs it says ---
failed to open the filesystem
superblock cannot be found on /dev/hdb10
try using with --rebuiled --tree

Idont want to reinstall suse.
Anyone has any ideas?
kindly help.

Did you delete or reformat any of the Linux partitions when you did this? that's almost what it sounds like...
