can someone tell me how we can open chm files in fedora linux? Is there any plugins or softwares for it.My all linux books are in chm format.

also if you don't like compiling appz from source, you may find easier to install gnoCHM...at least in ubuntu is installed by default{i think}.....

i forgot to mention that xchm is far more superior than gnoCHM....also is far more superior than the windows default reader...

So if you can install xchm, prefer it!

Debian has xCHM in one of its repos (i think -contrib?) so ubuntu aught to have it in universe/multiverse

If you cant find it then the Xchm site has a link to a Debian package. This should work on ubuntu. The file is a .deb so it needs no compiling
