I have not used Word 98 on my new IBook G4 much yet. It seems to not be able to save a document. It says file permission error.

Does anyone know why it is doing this? I checked and the "read only" box is not checked.

Thanks for any advice.

(P.S. I'm also having trouble loading PageMaker 6.5 and 7.0 as well -- they instantly crash before opening properly. I hope I have not got a virus!) :cry:

Hello,

Are you using Microsoft Word 98 on a OS 9 Mac? Or under OS X and Classic Mode? Need to know some more information on this.

You may need to re-run the permissions on your computer. Won't go too far until we know more information.
