I'm a PC user turned Mac user (essentially) and I'm using BootCamp to dual boot.. however I ahve run into a problem.

When I insert my very valid Windows XP cd, my keyboard no longer works. My Windows CD has several versions and I have to select which version I would like to install in a DOS prompt screen. It just sits there and I cannot enter letters from the keyboard in to select my version.

Am I SOL here? Do I need an XP disc with only one version? Obviously this would be easier, but this is the CD I have and I would like to use it.

Is it possible for the keyboard to work in this mode?

Could we please have a bit more background information about this problem like what sort of mac you have and what version of OSX you are running
