How do I get EMF images to display in IE8? They display in IE6 but just show as a broken image in IE8. I know that since IE7 there was a security update done affecting EMF files as they could run some unwanted scripts but then shouldn't there be a security setting to allow EMFs to be displayed from trusted sites?
I went through most of the steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283807 with no luck.
I have gone through all the security settings in IE8 too. The site where the EMF images are located (on our LAN) has been set up as a trusted site.
If I save the webpage to by desktop the EMF is displayed.
Please help.
