I have a PC and a laptop P2P networked, The PC is the main server and the laptop is the client, I have successfully shared the internet connection but I can't seem to get any folders to share. I have used ICS, both machines are running WinXP, I used the Network Setup Wizard on both machines. I can see the workgroup on both machines but when I click on it, it says access is denied you don't have permission etc..

I don't understand why it's doing this, I recently formatted the PC hard drive and since then it's not been working, it worked fine prior.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to create a user account on the server machine with the exact same name and password as you use to logon to the client machine. Make sure this user has permissions to the shared files.
