How do get past firewalls.

Firewalls are generally in place to secure the network. If you are trying to access content that's not allowed on the network that you are on, its best to comply and simply access that content from your own network that you manage/pay for.

By attempting to bypass security components, you place that network, its resources and users at risk.

But to answer your question, there is really no bypassing. Traffic is either allowed or not allowed to pass based upon the rules and filters in place. So getting through the firewall depends on how well it's managed and how strict the rules are.
