I tend to like open-source software because not only is it free but typically it's not hard to find a support forum to work through any issues you have.

I'm not sure you could make much money selling Office clones with things like OpenOffice already available. You would have to add some value not already offered by the other free clones.

I'm looking forward to MSN and Yahoo's versions of Adsense. I think the addition of MSN paid listings will create a nice balance between the big three.

Well, that's sorta what I was asking, what the forum rules are. I see you have 6 links in your signature, seems pretty generous!

There are several factors that are utilized to create the Google algorithim but I am currently under the impression that age of incoming links and anchor text are two of the heaviest weighted factors.

I've seen people report mixed results with using 301s. I highly recommend that you 301 redirect example.com to www.example.com on all your sites. But as far as a totally different domain, I would only do it as a last resort.

I strongly suggest simply paying a $3 / month or so fee for a paid host and you get much more than a free host :)

I completely agree, paid hosting is much more reliable than free. I wouldn't use free hosting. unless you had no starting capital at all.

Hello,
Does anybody know what is google current algorithm or has a link to an article that describes it?
Thanks,
Ronit.

I don't think anyone truly knows except the people who work at Google. I can tell you one of the heaviest weighted factors in the algorithm is anchor text of incoming back links, followed by title tags and h1 tags.

Where I have to put PHP files on Internet server.
Do I have to put them on personal server.

Please, do you know any free web hosting sites.

PHP files can go anywhere on a web server that is running the PHP Server Module. If the web server is not enabled to host PHP pages then they will not work. I found a list of free php web host here.

I highly recommend the free version of Cookie Password Protection. I use it on my site to protect certain database interfaces I don't want people getting into.
