Don't you mean "NOTICE -- It contains obscene language"

No. I would have said that if that was what I meant. This was a notice for those easily offended by what is considered by many\most in the United States to be "Adult" language. Obscene? That is relative, I believe.

when i was in primary school if you were last because you were in door duty you got a slice of bread and butter :(

That's sad and a bit odd; I would think the child doing something such as door duty or otherwise would be "rewarded" and not just with a slice of buttered bread. Was your door duty a sort of punishment at your school or was it a volunteer job? (I'll admit, I'm not exactly sure what "door duty" is, but it could be like "hallway monitor" in my country)

Hello:

I am interested in understanding recursivity; I have not knowingly used this much in my programming. I am reviewing certain areas of OOP in order to learn more and better about areas that I may not be fully understood yet. Recursivity is one of these areas. I understand the definition of the word, of course, but am having a bit of trouble finding good examples online or full tutorials on the subject in regards to OOP. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you in advance.

Another lovely example of what the world has come to. It does not really suprise me-- but it should. 3.50 pounds -vs- a child eating properly? I do realize that a noted policy in regards to the payment for the dinner existed and for a reason, but come on. If it was a daily\weekly issue with this girl the school could deal with it appropriately via the parents, not through the child. I like to think events like these are anomalies. I guess dry bread, water, and an old bananna qualifies as a meal and is better than nothing.

Get away from those porn sites and into a bar.

Great alternative, that. ^

Anyway, I do not know if divorce is higher among those who take advantage of valid online resources, but it does seem certain that the Internet provides a open channel to many areas (Pornography, illicit online relationships). It may up the odds of the reasons for a divorce in the end (if discovered) but the foundation for the divorce was probably already there, lurking and waiting to be activated. The Internet is only one other forum for such behavior.

I have been married once and am now divorced due to similar, related areas as discussed in this thread (on my ex-spouse's behalf-- cheating, forming an online relationship behind my back which grew into a realtime affair). Does this make me untrusting of the Internet? No, not really, only much more choosey and particular about the woman I may date. You cannot always be sure of someone's inability to be true in a comitted relationship, but it does not really take long to get a general "feel" for the individual and their morality. I missed all the signs with my ex-wife. I guess I am much too trusting.

I do not think this is an "I.Q." test, really. A number of years ago (2000) I considered joining the U.S. Army. I was tested at a Naval facility. The tests included: Mathematical, Science, Electrical, Mechanics, English Composition, Computer Science, and pattern matching. I scored high enough (top 5%) that they offered me a $20,000 sign-on bonus. I turned this down for one, primary reason: my job of choice in the Army was Armor school (M1A1 Abrams tank); I was not permitted to choose this after the testing not because of my academic testing but because I was determined by the Naval medical staff that same day to be color-blind and I did very poor on my hearing test, supposedly.

They offered me Infrantry. I did not want Infrantry. The interesting thing was everyone (400 potential recruits, in this case) seemed to all be being told that the "only job open to them" was Infrantry. Hmmm. Hence, I did not join.

I assume that U.S. military pilot tests consist of much higher testing beyond pattern matching although this is a standard testing area for the U.S. military (and one of the simplest parts of the initial testing, IMO)

Happy and mattyd,

Does you wife or girlfriend send you IMs or Honey Emails? Mine has done that but she's kinda old fashion in the note department .. I still get notes in my lunch and hidden in my backpack .. I kinda like the old way more instead of electronically :)

Hi:
Yes, my girl sends me e-mails from about two-feet away sometimes from her laptop to my PC; e-cards, pictures. :cheesy: She is very sweet. I do the same from time-to-time also. But we still are very old-fashioned: notes, flowers, etc. The mix of "old" and new is very nice.

yes we have badgers and both red and grey squirells and foxes also other cool animals like otters

the black panther thing is quite a common belief here

Otters :cheesy: Cool-- I love otters! I would really like to have one as a pet some day if at all possible. I have two domesticated, Norwegian rats-- they're adorable, so very intelligent, and quite easy to care for. My favorite pet is the cat, though.
