I have an idea on what we should do with old spaceships and satellites. Instead of bringing them back down to the Earth and scrapping them, I think we should put messages on them and send them back into space towards a solar system (or any random trajectory that wouldn't cause it to collide with any natural or artificial object). This is similar to the Pioneer and Voyager programs, with the exception that the Pioneer and Voyager programs used newly constructed spaceships, instead of old ones that would be scrapped. Such a system is a great idea since it would help us make contact with one or more alien civilizations. That being said, if an alien civilization (or civilizations) came across one or more of our old ships and satellites (that are carrying messages), they could learn about our people and perhaps even make (first) contact with our species. I see no disadvantages to this suggestion of mine, save for us not getting the little bit of scrap metal we would back (and the possibility of the aliens being hostile and enslaving or killing us, however that is highly unlikely since they would most likely be peaceful since they are so technologically advanced, and we have done this before with both radio and material messages before and nothing bad happened). I also believe that we should send out more non-material messages (radio, as well as others). It is not a commonly known fact, but we have only sent out a …

At humanity's current level of technological advancement, if something bad happened, the human race would die and there would be relatively little we could do about it. For example, say our sun goes supernova, we wouldn't be able to truly do anything that would make a difference. Only a select few individuals would be able to board spaceships before the explosion hit Earth, and those few would most likely not be able to escape our solar system in time (save for the new "experimental" interstellar spaceflight engines that are currently being built).

So I was reading a topic on Armor Games and was about "What are you known for at school?", I thought this was a good topic so I created my own one here. Here is the URL to the topic at Armor Games: http://armorgames.com/community/thread/2947305/what-are-you-known-for-at-school

Alright so here is what I am known for at school: "Being a friendly, easygoing person. I am also known for being respectable and respectful, as well as being good when it comes to talking to girls. It should be also noted that my mind wanders from trivial topics when walking in the hallways, these topics include a zombie (Resident Evil) infestation of the school, girls, Xenomorphs (along with the occasional Predators/Yautja) in the school, a terrorist attack on the school (i.e. the Columbine High School Massacre), Battlestar Galactica, and so much more. I often go to the library to go on the computers to go on my own website, as well as post on several other forums. I am also considered by many to be funny at times, while being dead serious at others, I am also known for sarcastic occasionally."

If you post there like you post here, I am betting that they voted you off the island.

WTF? Anyway, it's not a forum, it's a video game and I just created my account.

I can't log into my Ubi.com account for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. I tried a couple of times and I still can't login. I entered my username, password, and CD-key, but it says my information is invalid. Yet it obviously isn't since I created (and verified) my account on the same day that I got the game (March 18, 2009). Please help me rectify this most unfortunate problem.

Did you have to say this ? It was disregarded anyways when for three years nobody gave a damn.

I feel bad for posting it, it was like a bad mark on my record here. So I just had to remove the bad mark and apologize.

I've lived in the United States my entire life and have never been to any other countries before. However on Friday (March 20, 2009), I will be leaving the United States and going to Jonathanland (Jonathanland City, Region 1, Jonathanland). I am going there and am going stay with my uncle for a couple days (which is good, since I won't have to pay the taxes there if I am staying with him), he even gave me one of his two guest rooms. This is really exciting for me, it's my first visit to a country other than the United States. I will be returning to the United States on Saturday (March 21, 2009).

@serkan sendur: Sorry, but I'm a resistance fighter for the Ottoman Empire's return, I don't think they would like that to much back in Turkey : SNIP
