It is with great sadness that I make the announcement that Davey (aka happygeek) is stepping down as community administrator of DaniWeb.

You may have noticed that Davey has not been active on the site for a couple of days. Effective immediately, he is stepping down from both of his roles on DaniWeb as both community administrator and head staff writer.

Although he has been trying his best to keep it from his online world, Davey is currently going through an extremely traumatic personal situation, and he feels as if he can no longer continue his roles on DaniWeb.

My Gosh,when i saw this thread i thought the worst Dani..... (On another site im on we just lost the admin.. (She passed away) and we are all very saddend by this.....)

I am sorry Davey is going thru this but im glad he hasnt left us... (Knock on wood)

Well several of those things listed DO IN FACT help things!

Cleaning Prefetch files IS ALWAYS A BIG HELP IF YOUR ON XP,ETC that uses Prefetch!!

And cleaning your registry is a big help also.. (The cleaner your reg is OF UN-NEEDED things,the faster response you will notice (Its like keeping your dresser drawers neat and in order))

Does Win7 have 2 recycle bins?

For example: I am on Win98se and besides the "RECYCLE BIN" on my desktop i have "Recycled" in my ROOT directory (C:\Recycled)

Do you also have a 2nd recycle bin and have you tried getting to that one?
