this could be a graphics card fault or your grpahics card could not be connected to the motherboard correctly. have you tried using another monitor with this computer to see if it that works?

If your monitor isnt working but turns on and off fine with a logo it could be a graphics card fault. if you have a spare monitor try using it on your computer if it doesnt work then it could possibly be the graphics card

are you sure your using a 1gb stick of ram? it could be show 512MB because thats what your actually using?
