First question, were you able to connect out of the box?

Is there more than one antivirus running? ie. windows defeneder and avast, etc

Have you tried a system restore to a date prior to the windows update?

There are many great apps out there, are you looking for any particular types of apps?

For travel I recommend TripCase. Lookout it a great security program, they have a free and premium version, the premium version features remote wipe and lock. Astro to access the files and items stored on my micro sd card.

These are just a few of the many apps that I use. AppJudgement on Revision3.com is a great show that reviews mobile applications for multiple smart phones.

Hope this helps.

Hello All,

I'm fairly new to the community and last night I had the pleasure of attending this month's DaniWeb's Techie Meetup, I met a great group of people and look forward to meeting many more here in the community!

Regards,

There is a list of supported processors, system/motherboards and devises for PC-BSD 8.2 at http://www.freebsd.org/releases/8.2R/hardware.html.

The Linux Mint site has a community database that you can search by type, brand, release, etc. It can be found at http://community.linuxmint.com/hardware.

Hope this helps!

I am currently studying to take the A+ exam, I was advised to start with this certification as it shows a good base knowledge. However, I plan to go beyond the A+ to other certifications as well, because let's face it this industry requires constant learning and growing as the technology grows and changes.
