Hi Everyone,

Could anyone give me some examples of integrals used in computer science, computer engineering or telecommunications?

It doesnt matter if the integral isnt the base of the concept. It only matters if its used or not. I need ideas so I can research something.

P.S. More specifically the topics with integrals that Ive seen so far are: volumes of revolution, area between two curves and arc length. Any ideas that have to do with these would be favourable. If not, Ill take anything youve got.

Learn just a smidgen about wavelet transformations. Those are used in image processing and denoising methods of all kinds. Next time, though, try to search more extensively on the net because you couldn't possibly have missed something like numerical integration.
