I have been asked to convert the following to ascii code, but I am having no luck. Does anyone have an idea what this translates to?

100100110000101001101

Thank you

Could you be more specific? How do you want it translated? Your post is vague and makes no sense.

All I have to go on is this request by an instructor:

"What do the numbers 100100110000101001101 stand for in ascii code?"

I have been trying to decode it and get garbage for results when trying to translate it to hex, dec, or ascii.

Any suggestions?

Well, you have 21 digits, which means that the number of bits used for each letter must be a factor of 21... hint hint

Does it translate to:
1001001 1000010 1001101
IBM

Or am I still doing it wrong?
Thanks

oh honestly I'm not answering that question :P
