"hospital administration database" is pretty abstract. I think you need to define what is required a bit more than that before you even think about database design.

Infact I am stuent and given a choice for a topic to choose for my presentation.I got this one as I have some experience in working in different hospital.
However I have no any idea how to start my project which is based on hospital management system.

1) OPD Patient magement
2) Patient Admission
3) Ward patient management system
4) Stock inventory system
5) daily operation detail (if exist)
6) finance (patient billing )
7) Laboratory system
