It's always better to download oracle development tools like sql*plus from oracle main site to avoid malicious software that hide trojan and virus and for that u need just 5 minute to spend for registration . And if u have "IE" u can and download "flashget download manager software(free)" and start your download with resume feature .

and registration is absolutely free, so always download from oracle site only.

I don't think you need to register in order to download a SQL Plus software from Oracle site. Always go to Oracle site and download their product/s..
