I`m very much new with vb.net..I want to learn it so I was just doing it from VB 2005 for Dummies.I was just able to create a simple button and customize it...;) When I reached a chapter "Dynamically editing data with the Data Sources window" I was not able to understand anything...

My Question is should I create a database first...if yes then how and with what?
if No then what i`m suppose to do...?

as Jx_Man said you need to have database so you can make it as source of your data
you can use Microsoft Access to create it
read this to know more about DB

I would use Microsoft SQL Express (FREE) as the database and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express (FREE) to manage and setup the database

They are both downloadable from Microsoft's web site

I`ll surely get hold of the above mentioned applications and try to setup a database...Thanks for the replies..Anyone can add their suggestions also..;)
