i am working in developing a package for reading data from a com port and then display its interpretation.
i am getting data in a text box.
i have a database to compare eachline and give results.
Now my problem is data is coming in the text box, i have to select data from the text box and paste it in a word document save it and then copy the the same thing in the same textbox .then when i click on a command button data from a textbox comparing in the data base takes place.
when simply data from the com port is getting stored in the textbox, and then i click on
command button to compare, compare cannot take place.
is the text format in textbox is different from doc format?
can anyone help me with the codes for storing data from a textbox to a word doc/note pad
then transfer back to the same textbox.
