When I try to compile this code (I am not finished with it yet) I get 4 error messages that all say incompatible types
found : int
required: int[]

directed toward the highlighted lines in the code. I feel like i've tried everything, but nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You are trying to assign a single int value to an int[] array. You need to assign that int to a specific element in your array, such as

stateCode[count] = input.nextInt();
