i published a project from project properties. it creates an installer file but launching the application automatically, plus not promtting a save dialogue box for a directory . is there any other ways of doing it.............thanks

Go to the directory where your project is located, look for the "bin" folder then "Debug" and you will find the executable file of your project.
or do this step
1. On Solution Explorer double click the My Project
2. Tab Script look for the "Publish" click
3. Click the Application Files..
4. or. if you want to publish it to web click the Publish Now.
