Hi I've bee trying and failing to use Visual Studio's C++ 6.0 to send and recieve data via my serial RS232 port. I have been informed previously that I need to use the Win32 API but not how to use it. I am trying to convert my code from a DOS based application which was in Borland and doesn't have much of a GUI, into a good point and click application. I am aware that there may be other languages better suited to this but unfortuneately I'm stuck with this for now.
I would greatly appreciate any help in using the RS232 even if it is just a reference to a good tutorial, thanks.
