Iv been working on a project in java and i want to implement an export to HTML 5 feature. I have looked around and not seen many useful discussions on how to implement this feature.
A number of software products i looked into such as scirra construct and adobe edge claim to use some sort of HTML 5 compiler. My question is this, what would be the best way to implement a HTML 5 export function, should it merely generate javascript blocks that are pre-made to perform functions selected from an event sheet?
Or should i incorporate methods of parsing,lexing and generating code too similar to that of a standard compiler using java?
This is in part a javascript question and i realize that, but there doesent seem to be an appropriate category for such a question, so sorry if its in the wrong section :).
