this line is throwing error "type mismatch" where lst is parameter as string/... plzz help

actually i m passing parameter in string form..at the line of set lvw = form.controls(parameter & "Listview") is throwing error..type mismatch parameter has string type datatype..why it is throwing error..i m using windows form controls sp2 and sp6 both..it is due to that or something else..plzzz help
