On CrystalReportViewer
go to: Field Explorer>Database Expert> on Data Tab you have Project Data, My Connections, Create New Connections.. then click My Connections, there you can your datasets.. Go and Explore
Its a simple LogOn/LogOff Problem

Is your database password protected? Just as OtepTheThird said it's just as logon/logoff problem but then again it can also be a password protected database.
