I have a site that I have always edited remotely, using FrontPage extensions. I recently went back to make some site updates and VS is giving me the error "You are not authorized to perform the current operation" when it tries to connect remotely to the site.
By rightclicking the VS shortcut and selecting 'run as,' I run VS as a different user and I can log in to edit the site. I got a Basic Auth popup to log in. This makes me think that I have some cached login token that is whacked, causing my normal user to be unable to connect.
Can someone tell me how VS caches a login? I believe that if I deleted that stored version of the login information, I could solve this problem.
