How to create web application suitable for all the browsers

Hai friend's

i created one web appliction with visual studio2005 , while i ran that page with internet Explorer it show's the same design which i created , then i tried the application with some other browsers like mozilla , opera and google chrome, it not showed the correct design what i did , i mean the picture went one side and the table went one side , i am just a beginner so help me out how to create the web application that should suitable for all the browsers....
