I would like to learn PHP and I am wondering how to install it. I am planning on using the Eclipse PHP IDE for coding. I have tried a couple of installs for PHP and I could not get any of them to work. I have a vista ^$ bit machine and I am wondering if anyone can post a tutorial, or link me to one that can guide me to successfully install PHP. Thanks

Have you tried installing XAMPP? It installs the whole stack for you.

I have tried, but whenever I run it it gives me an error and it doesn't work.

Error:

XAMPP Component Status Check failure [295].

Current directory c:\xampp

Run this program only from your XAMPP root directory
