i am making an online quiz that has a countdown timer plugin: https://code.google.com/p/jquery-countdown/source/browse/trunk/js/jquery.countdown.js?r=3
everything is fine but if the user log out or close the browser then the timer will reset back to the default given time. i would like to know how to get the value of the timer so that i can store it in the database/session so that if the user came back to the page, the timer value will still be the same the time the user left..
