The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

I get that error. I have a hosting account with cpanel access, how can I avoid this problem from happening?

nevermind I found it. In cpanel its Select PHP Version>Switch to PHP Settings and change max upload size
