So I was recently at the big Motorola launch event which spanned New York City, Mexico City, Sao Paulo and London where I was part of the media herd waiting to see exactly what new handsets were about to be revealed. The answer came in triplicate: the Moto X Style, Moto X Play and the new third generation Moto G. Hi Folks – I am trying to identify a good desktop primarily for use doing statistical computing with the R language. Not sure if I should be posting here or in custom builds or somewhere else. I have some very large files (Census & BLS stuff, mainly – as much as 14 gig in a file) and R likes to hold what it is working on in RAM, so I need to max out the RAM – I am thinking 16 gig to start, but with the expansion slots to go up to 64 if that proves to be necessary …

Hi, I am planning to build a budget gaming PC with the price limit of roughly £400. I have found a group of components that add up to make roughly £350 and I was wondering whether these components are worth there money, if it will be good enough to play games well on medium graphic settings and what needs upgrading for future proofing. The aim is to build a cheap PC and as o gain more money I can buy better components as the next gen comes out. Here are the components minus the PSU: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezrx http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/patriot-memory-psd34g13332s http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-f2a85vpro http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad641xwngxbox http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx650e2gd5
