Hello. I was just checking up my devices and on Intel(R) Display Audio and Intel(R) Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework Driver there is an exclamation mark which indicated that the driver software needs to be updated. but i updated it using the "search automatically for updated driver software" and windows says "windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date" but still the exclamation mark is still there. I even used Driver Booster 2 to scan an update and the drovers are up to date. should i just ignore the exclamation mark then? because checking drivescape.com …

[www.unitedinblue.com](http://www.unitedinblue.com) There's a lot of JS and ajax and extra scripts and things (far as I can tell at a first look) on this website, some of which don't even seem to serve any purpose. If you look in the source (via Inspect Element, not actually viewing the page source, cuz of the ajax and crap -- if you try to reload the page, for example, you get a 404; the history is intact though), you'll see there's an extra menu as well, first thing in the body (ul.onepage-pagination) that's invisible, but I don't see any styles that should be …

I have a laptop that runs Windows Vista and when I turn it on Windows won't boot. Instead, I get this error message. Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer. This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing. Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer. If you continue to receive this error message, contact the hardware manufacturer. File: …

Hi Everybody, i would like to develop an application, that can connect to mobile devices. In my case it is a MDE 3090 with Windows CE5 (http://www.ics-ident.de/ICS-Produkte/IT-Logistik-Systeme/Motorola-MC3090,49,96,69.html). What motivates me? I got to reset and re-install the MDE and you have to pay a lot of attention, which folder you delete and create. This process cost about 20min everytime. Here you can see the Problem i got: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/376311_10151046736217432_232135247_n.jpg I can't mount those partitions because it would not be found in the hdd-snap-in from windows and i can't mount it via net use either. I'm unable to get any new USB devices to work with my Fujitsu laptop. Devices that I've been using for a while (such as keyboard, mouse, printer, ext. hard drive) still work. Whenever I try to connect any new device (mouse, USB stick, ext. hard drive) it immediately recognises what it is in the pop-up balloon from the system tray but then starts up the Install New Hardware wizard which fails every time. The devices themselves work in other computers and all of the ports work with other devices. I'm running XP SP3 and I think it's an OS problem. …

In a press release issued today, a new website and service is introduced that moves us one step closer to human-device equality. Yes, now you can marry your iPhone, iPod or iPad. Although it may seem like an April fools joke, the website www.MarryYouriPhone.com is actually a clever way to attract new potential subscribers to iPhone Life Magazine. I am proud to say that in a brief, albeit glorious ceremony this morning, my iPad and I have tied the proverbial knot:Mazel Tov!

Hello All: I am new to this form of potential problem solving however, information never acted upon is a solution never arrived at. I have a PC on XP and one day my sounds dissappeared from my speakers (that are integral to my HP flat panel screen. Windows troubleshooting is so far, no help. In the control panel, the Audio and Sound devices icon reveals "no audio device" and is in the backgroud as a light-grey shade verses fully "lit up" I am in hopes that someone smarter than me can lend a bit of information to solve this problem. …

I have experimented many things but I am unable to catch the error. Can some one point out the error? I'm trying to connect to devices on a network through TCP , one is a wireless device with limited capabilities (a 802.11g transceiver with an incorporated SoC ) or the client and the other is a normal pc , the server . As the client is meant to be in sleep mode as long as possible when not used i need a way for the pc to discover the client when he is active . My idea was : broadcast/multicast (but as i know from my own router multicasting isn't allowed to often, or is it?) through UDP the address …

It’s not a new snack food and it’s not a plan to help save the Earth. The low power chips are a series of application processors and digitial signal processors announced in July by Texas Instruments that consume significantly less power than predecessors and prolong battery life of the devices built around them. The best part? Nowhere in TI’s release documents was the word “green.” Not surprisingly, device designers using TI processors have been asking the chip-maker for products that consumer less power, more or less supplanting prior requests for more and more power. “[The] developers first question is now, …

As portable computing devices advance in power and complexity, development-tool makers must keep up or die. Claiming strides this week are simulation-tools maker Virtutech and chip-maker Freescale Semiconductor, which are showing a version of Virtutech’s Simics virtualized software development environment with hybrid simulation capability. The initial release supports Freescale’s eight-core QorIQ P4080 communications platform processor. The tool is on display at the Freescale Technology Forum in Orlando, Fla., through Thursday. The benefit of its hybrid capability, according to Virtutech, is the capacity to “mix detailed and fast models both temporally and spatially,” allowing developers in a single simulation session to …
