I have 2 routers. An Asus RT-N65U and a D-link dir-605L. I know the dir-605L is WDS capable. But can I make it a repeater of the Asus router? Or will dlink routers only serve as repeaters to other D-link primary routers?

Hi all, I'm having a problem that in all likelihood some of you have already faced one time or another: the notorious inconsistency of a wireless network connection. I have one WinXP machine, that's connected to a wireless network via an access point. But sometimes, the access point loses the connection. It usually happens if I have just finished copying some very large file (3GB for example). I would have liked to configure WinXP to reboot/reset/repair-connection automatically whenever it loses contact with the wireless network. For example, if ping to wifi-router fails, repair connection. Does anyone have any suggestions on …

I installed WDS and is functioning. The issue- I did not find volumes on the client computer after SYSPREP. Meanwhile, the server is on VM machine and also the client. I have two partitions on the client. The client will boot from the network where i will choose capture image. I have googled about the inconsistence but what i found about it is the SYSPREP which i already did. I prepared SYSprep many times on the client but to no success. I knew there is something missing or wrong somewhere but what ??? That is the matter. Any other ideas …
