What is that star over the reputation indicator I see over some members?? I couldnt understand its purpose.

Yeah, I've wondered about this too. I've also wondered about the color of the little icon in front of reputation comments.

Green means it boosted. Red means it Lowered. Grey means they didnt have enough Rep themselves to affect you.
