North Korea's military is behind a series of cyber attacks against South Korean and U.S. websites that slowed or disabled access by saturating them with traffic this week, a South Korean news report said on Saturday.

The problem is that North Korea is the least computerized nation on this planet. If all the inhabitants would have access to the internet, there would not be "Ruler-for-live".

That doesn't seem to be stopping China from trying.

Doesn't mean they won't try to. Besides, all they have to do is regulate commercial ISPs.

It is only an assumption that it was N.Korea doing the DoS; the only things that caused it to rise above the background DoS going on all the time were the targets.

During the Cold War days the Bulgarians used to have a cyber unit in their military that wrote a lot of virus code.

It appears that there were cyber attacks during the Georgian hostilities.
