Yesterday, Daniweb was unavailable for few hours. Any Idea why?
(Posting this again, because it is much suited to this forum, & I cannot delete my thread in Geek's Lounge, so just asked it here, no offence i guess)

With all due respect, can i know why was Daniweb down at the first place? Just curious. If it is something that can affect the security of Daniweb in future, no need to disclose it. Otherwise, let us know. :D

blud can explain more, but something went funky with the database server in the middle of the night causing table lockups.
