I just joined, I have been reading some of your posts....
Some in particular caught my attention. I am attempting to fix my brothers presario 700.... ewww.

Did manage to get it up and flying, but it is overheating.
Saw a posting here regarding downloading a software fix from AMD... called Power Now.... I did, but it won't install.

Any suggestions?

I welcome your expertise. :)
