Does anyone know how long it takes for a new blog to start being recognized by the major search engines? I want to monetize my new blog eventually, but I'm waiting until I have good traffic before using ads. And I'm wondering if I should postpone posting comments on other blogs with links to my own until the search engines pick up on it.
