both have their unique significance. if you want to excel in databases, chooose oracle, if u want to work on system level and remote level choose java. all d best

Exactly as the posters before me said.. In the end this is completely your decision to make.
If i were you i would choose the one that gives you more pleasure to do although doing both would be best :D
