Did you ever return to working for a company after that? What influenced the decision if you were making a decent income freelancing?

It was an emergency response database with data from the Emergency Response Guide (ERG) and many other sources. But the primary purpose was multi-user network input managing multi-agency incident response. These days, counties are typically required to use State and Federal developed software for interoperability, thus ending my gig.
