My Kodak camera takes video and it saves it as a quicktime video. My problem is that when i use windows movie maker, it does not recognize quicktime. so can I convert to some other file, ie. avi., and if so how? Thanks for your help.

If your only concern is watching the videos, you can download Apple's QuickTime Player for free.

As for conversion, you'll need one of the many-available video converting utilities out there. I recommend the free-to-download RAD video tools. If you need help converting, I suggest you read this article on using RAD video tools.

Hope this helps
