After recent update you need to focus on guest posting and web 2.0 submissions. But remember content must be unique.

directory submission sites are penalised
link sharing sites are penalised
link spamming is penalised

links from content-related valid non-spam sites

I recommended you to use forum posting, bookmarking, blog commenting, article posting and press release.

submit creative and authentic content on website.guest blogging and forum posting is best thing for ranking better.

Article postings, forum postings, blog commentings, social bookmarking are imortant but we have to try to submit our link only good pr and most of traffic websites.

Do natural link building.. avoid black hat seo..
