Just performed a complete format/OS recovery using original recovery discs. Everything was fine for a few days until I installed MS Office. During the installation the screen went blank, hasn't restarted since. Power supply rating: 15VDC, actual: 15.4VDC. External power indicator (LED) is on, battery indicator (LED) blinks continuously. When I press the power button, the hard drive LED illuminates for a split second, then all LED's go blank for a few seconds, then reverts back to power LED on and battery LED blinking. No voltage is reaching the power terminals in the battery compartment. Suspect the power distribution section on the motherboard, but any advice or confirmations would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the help. Found a fuse blown on the power distribution board.
