recently i noticed that my pci lan cad (10/100) was overheating rapidly---i put my temperature sensor on it and it was 40 degrees and when its being used it reaches around 60 degrees
what can i do??

I would consider the temperatures you're experiencing (40-60 degrees F) to be normal.
